Before you book
What you actually need to know about Flanders Expo.
Ghent's main exhibition venue, built directly onto the E40/R4/E17 interchange — eight modular halls ranging from 4,032 m² side halls to a 19,152 m² main hall, plus a Meeting Center and two smaller blackbox spaces, hosting everything from packaging and logistics trade fairs to consumer expos across the year.
Access & logistics
3,600 on-site parking spaces and direct highway access make this a drive-in venue first — budget freight and move-in around road delivery, not rail, and confirm your hall assignment early, since sizes on one floor range from 4,032 m² to over 19,000 m².
Watch-outs
Flanders Expo, not a generic hall.
No sitewide technical manual
Flanders Expo doesn't appear to publish one venue-wide exhibitor/technical guide — rules and order deadlines come from whichever organiser is running that edition (Easyfairs, for Empack, for example), so request it per show rather than assuming a house standard.
Co-located shows share halls and badges
Several events here run side-by-side sharing a hall and a single visitor badge — Empack and Transport & Logistics shared a floor this September — check who else is on the floor before designing a stand that only speaks to your own sector.
Highway access, not rail-first
The venue sits directly on the E40/R4/E17 interchange with 3,600 on-site parking spaces; plan freight and move-in around road delivery rather than a walk-in from Ghent-Sint-Pieters station.
Mismatched hall sizes on one site
Hall 1 (19,152 m²) and Hall 8 (10,735 m²) anchor the venue, while Halls 2–7 run in matched 4,032 m² pairs — confirm which hall your show is in before sizing a stand off last year's plan, since a hall change alters the scale everything else on the floor is competing against.

[PLACEHOLDER] Norvexa Packaging Solutions
One modular stand, resized for three different Flanders Expo halls
Norvexa exhibits at Flanders Expo most years, but rarely in the same hall twice. We built a modular frame system sized to work in both a 4,032 m² side hall and the larger Hall 1 floor, so the stand scales up or down without a full redesign each time the organiser reassigns halls.
Same core stand system, reconfigured for three different hall sizes over three editions.

Frequently asked
Flanders Expo, answered.
Is there one technical manual that covers every Flanders Expo show?
No — Flanders Expo doesn't publish a single venue-wide exhibitor manual. Rules and deadlines come from whichever organiser is running that particular edition, so request it per show rather than assuming a house standard applies everywhere.
How do we get a stand in and out on show days?
The venue is built for road freight — it sits on the E40/R4/E17 interchange with 3,600 on-site parking spaces. Plan your load-in around drive-in access rather than rail or city-centre delivery.
Will our stand share a hall with an unrelated show?
Possibly — Flanders Expo regularly runs co-located events under one shared badge, as Empack and Transport & Logistics did this September. Check your show's neighbours before finalising a design aimed at one audience only.
