Venue

Antwerp Expo

Dates

10–11 May 2028

Exhibitors

110+ exhibitors (2026 edition)

Visitors

Not yet published for the 2028 edition

Stand sizes

No published stand-size grid — three co-located sub-shows (Welding Week, Metal, Subcontracting) suggest a working-equipment-heavy floor; budget for machinery displays rather than a meeting-style stand

Sector

Welding, metalworking & subcontracting

Before you book

What you actually need to know about Advanced Manufacturing.

One ticket, three shows — Advanced Manufacturing combines Welding Week, Metal and Subcontracting under a single Benelux metal-sector event. Biennial, next running in May 2028.

Traffic & timing

Buyers move between three distinct sub-shows (welding, metalworking machinery, and subcontracting/sourcing) under one ticket — position and signage need to make clear which of the three you belong to, since visitors are triaging by sub-show as much as by exhibitor.

Key deadlines

Plan backwards from move-in.

Biennial format — confirm before assuming this edition's specifics

The show runs every two years, with a two-year gap between the 2026 and 2028 editions — confirm current hall assignment, dates and exhibitor numbers with the organiser rather than reusing an old plan.

Confirm which sub-show your stand belongs to

Welding Week, Metal and Subcontracting run under one ticket but are distinct content tracks — confirm your placement and how it's signposted to visitors triaging between the three.

Book working-equipment logistics early

Metalworking and welding exhibitors often bring working machinery — confirm load-in, power and rigging requirements with the organiser well ahead of the build window.

Watch-outs

Antwerp Expo, not a generic hall.

Three sub-shows, one ticket

Welding Week, Metal and Subcontracting run together under a single Advanced Manufacturing ticket — a stand needs clear signage about which of the three it belongs to, since visitors triage between them.

Two-year gap between editions

With the 2026 and 2028 editions two years apart, reused stand plans and exhibitor-count assumptions should be re-confirmed with the organiser rather than carried over.

No published visitor figures yet

Only the exhibitor count (110+, from 2026) is confirmed so far — visitor numbers for the 2028 edition aren't yet published; confirm expected scale directly with the organiser.

No published venue-wide technical manual

We didn't find a public exhibitor/technical manual for Antwerp Expo as a whole — request build regulations directly from the organiser before designing a stand.

[PLACEHOLDER] Dekelver Metalworks

Signposting one stand across three overlapping audiences

Dekelver exhibits across both the Metal and Subcontracting tracks at Advanced Manufacturing, and needed visitors from both to immediately understand what they were looking at. We split the stand into two clearly labelled zones sharing one back wall, so a single build served both audiences without reading as two disconnected stands.

Visitors from both the Metal and Subcontracting tracks engaged with the stand in similar numbers.

Frequently asked

Advanced Manufacturing, answered.

Is Advanced Manufacturing one show or three?

Structurally three — Welding Week, Metal and Subcontracting — sold and marketed under one combined ticket and running at the same time in the same halls.

Is this an annual event?

No — it's biennial. The 2026 and 2028 editions are two years apart, so confirm current dates and figures with the organiser rather than reusing an old plan.

How many exhibitors take part?

110+ at the 2026 edition, across all three sub-shows combined. 2028 figures aren't yet published.

Exhibiting elsewhere too?
