Before you book
What you actually need to know about Brussels Motor Show.
Brussels Motor Show is Belgium's flagship automotive show at Brussels Expo — one of the country's highest-attendance consumer fairs, with organiser FEBIAC placing brands into specific halls by tier (mainstream, premium, motorcycles, luxury) rather than letting exhibitors self-select position.
Traffic & timing
Visitor numbers have grown year over year — 349,775 in 2026 versus 307,363 in 2025 — and the show runs over a week rather than the typical two-to-four-day trade fair, with the opening weekend historically drawing the heaviest crowds; a stand that peaks visually and operationally on day one gets disproportionate exposure relative to the rest of the run.
Key deadlines
Plan backwards from move-in.
Hall/tier placement
FEBIAC assigns brands to halls by tier (mainstream in Hall 5, premium/Asian in Hall 7, luxury/hypercar in Hall 11, motorcycles in Hall 9) — confirm your hall assignment before finalising a stand design, since neighbouring brands and expected foot traffic differ sharply by hall.
Car of the Year finalist space
If the client's model is a Car of the Year finalist, it needs a dedicated presence in Hall 6 for the full run, alongside the other finalists — factor that separate space into planning rather than just the brand's main stand.
Vehicle load-in & turntables
Coordinate turntable and ramp logistics with Brussels Expo well ahead of the show — turntable slots are limited across a floor with a hundred-plus brands competing for them.
Watch-outs
Brussels Expo, not a generic hall.
Your hall assignment isn't your choice
FEBIAC places brands into halls by tier — a mainstream brand doesn't get to request Hall 11's luxury neighbours, so plan the stand brief around the hall you're actually in, not the one that would suit the ambition.
The show runs over a week, not a weekend
Unlike a typical multi-day trade fair, Brussels Motor Show runs over a week — flooring, lighting and staffing all need to hold up across a much longer public run than a standard stand is built for.
Car of the Year finalists get extra scrutiny
Hall 6's dedicated Car of the Year space puts finalist vehicles in front of press and public for the entire run — a stand context that carries more visibility (and more risk if execution is off) than the brand's main presence elsewhere.
Motorcycles and cars don't share a hall
Hall 9 is motorcycles only — a brand with both car and motorcycle lines needs two coordinated stand builds in two different halls, not one combined presence.

[PLACEHOLDER] Hallcrest Motors
A Hall 7 stand built to hold up over a week-plus public run
Hallcrest needed a stand that read as a full showroom in Hall 7's premium/Asian-brand tier and could survive well over a week of public footfall without visible wear. We specified reinforced flooring and a lighting rig designed for the show's full run, not a typical few-day trade fair.
Zero flooring or structural issues reported across the full show run.

Frequently asked
Brussels Motor Show, answered.
Can we choose which hall our stand is in?
No — FEBIAC assigns brands to halls by tier (mainstream, premium, luxury, motorcycles), so the design brief needs to fit the assigned hall's neighbours and audience, not a preferred one.
Will our flooring and lighting hold up for the full show?
We spec commercial-grade flooring and lighting rated for a run of well over a week, not a typical multi-day trade fair — Motor Show wear is a different problem than a standard stand faces.
What if our vehicle is a Car of the Year finalist?
That model needs a coordinated presence in Hall 6's dedicated finalist space for the full run, in addition to your brand's main stand — we plan both together rather than as separate projects.
