Before you book

What you actually need to know about BILT Antwerpen.

BILT rebrands and consolidates three former Belgian building fairs (BIS, Wonen and Bouw&reno) under one brand. The Antwerpen edition runs a nine-day window at Antwerp Expo aimed at both trade professionals and homeowners planning a renovation or new build.

Traffic & timing

This is a hybrid trade-and-consumer format — BILT explicitly markets itself as more than 'just a trade show visit' — so a stand needs to work for browsing homeowners as much as for the specifying professionals actually placing orders.

Key deadlines

Plan backwards from move-in.

Confirm exhibitor package & stand type

BILT quotes stands directly per exhibitor rather than publishing a fixed size/pricing grid — lock your package and hall position with the organiser well before the January slot, since the show follows close behind BILT Mechelen in the same season.

Design for a nine-day run, not a typical three-to-five

The Antwerpen edition runs 16–24 January — nearly double the length of most fairs on this site. Build durability and a staffing rotation into the plan from the start, not as an afterthought.

Graphics for two audiences

With trade professionals and consumers on the same floor, lock messaging and signage that reads clearly to both well before print deadlines, rather than defaulting to trade-only technical copy.

Watch-outs

Antwerp Expo, not a generic hall.

Trade and consumer audiences share one floor

BILT positions itself as more than a trade show — homeowners attend alongside specifying professionals, so a stand built only for B2B conversations can under-perform with the browsing majority.

Nine-day run strains a typical build

At 16–24 January, this is nearly double the length of most fairs on this site — check your stand's finishes and staffing plan can hold up for the full run, not just a long weekend.

Same brand, three venues, different scale

BILT also runs Gent (Flanders Expo, 320+ distributors) and Mechelen (Nekkerhal) editions — don't assume the Antwerpen edition matches either in scale; its own exhibitor count (200+) is the only confirmed figure for this specific show.

No published venue-wide technical manual

As with our other Antwerp Expo pages, we didn't find a public exhibitor/technical manual for this show — request build regulations, rigging and fire-safety rules directly from the organiser before designing a stand.

[PLACEHOLDER] Verhoeven Kitchens & Interiors — A nine-day stand built to hold up for two very different audiences

[PLACEHOLDER] Verhoeven Kitchens & Interiors

A nine-day stand built to hold up for two very different audiences

Verhoeven needed one stand that read as credible to specifying contractors in the morning and approachable to browsing homeowners by evening, across a nine-day run. We built modular display zones — technical spec panels at counter height, lifestyle vignettes at eye level — so the same floor space did both jobs without a rebuild partway through.

One stand, two audiences, zero mid-run refits across the full nine-day run.

Frequently asked

BILT Antwerpen, answered.

Is BILT Antwerpen a trade-only event?

No — it's a hybrid format. Trade professionals and consumer homeowners attend the same floor, so a stand built only for B2B conversations risks under-performing with the browsing majority.

How does the Antwerpen edition compare to BILT Gent or Mechelen?

We don't have confirmed scale figures for all three — Gent is described as having 320+ distributors, Antwerpen 200+ exhibitors — but don't assume they match. Confirm your specific edition's numbers before sizing a stand.

How long does the show run, and what does that mean for staffing?

Nine days (16–24 January) — nearly double most fairs on this site. Budget for a staffing rotation and durable finishes, not a plan built for a typical long weekend.
